OMG wanna laugh again?

Well, while digging through some old art looking for something, I came across these doodles I did last year that I completely forgot about! I re-drew all the old fanchars (well the ones I could remember) that I made when I was 8-10 when I started in the Sonic fandom. I made all these characters between Sonic 1 and 2. By the time Sonic 3 and Knuckles came out I had turned Crystal into a cat and scrapped everyone else and started over. Here are short descriptions of them:

Crystal the Hedgehog: This pink, short tempered bully actually had a secret crush on Sonic, but didn't quite know how to get her feelings across, so she just beat him up more than she did the others. That made him special. She was actually friends with Carol the Fox, who shared in her crush for Sonic, though Carol was more open about it. Crystal ended up becoming the base for both Crystal the Cat and Jade, Jade having her attitude (but without being a bully) and Crystal having her...color scheme.

Simon the Hedgehog: Sonic's darker blue highly intelligent cousin often came off as a snotty-pants, know-it-all, who greatly annoyed Crystal without even trying. A bit of a coward and a bookworm, he was your typical nerd, lab coat and graduation cap included!

Max the Hedgehog: A friend of Sonic's who looked up to him greatly and was nothing more than a little "kid brother" type, who was immediately scrapped when Tails appeared, so I never really developed him. I like his beanie.... LOL

Kevin (?) the Hedgehog: Another of Sonic's cousins. I can't remember if his name was infact Kevin but I know it started with a "K" because that was the letter on his varsity jacket. Kevin had all the stereotypical "jock" characteristics. He was good at sports, dumb, and a bit of a jerk. But he helped out his cousins (Simon would use him for science experiments) whenever it wasn't in the middle of football practice. He was light green like Manic!

Carol the Fox: The last one that was made before they were scrapped for all time, Carol was about the same age as Max and well known for being a good singer (her name comes from Christmas carol...which are my favorite things to sing! ) and was a bit egotistical, but for some reason was the only person who was close to Crystal. As mentioned, she had a big crush on Sonic, which he basically ignored as much as he did to Crystal's bullying.

And that's it! Basically these are the redrawn characters I could remember with their old designs. The ones on the yellow Post-Its I did while at work (on hold with some insurance company no doubt). I hope you enjoyed that if you managed to read it all!
