not exactly a "Happy Father's Day" pic but I decided to draw all the dads of my Sonic fan characters. I usually just draw Garnet, Emerald's father. But I figured I'd doodle the others. These might not be their permanent designs but they're pretty close.

Ok start at the top and go counter clockwise (and these descriptions are true to when the girls were younger, like first born).:

Garnet: Emerald's dad and the leader of the pack. He treats everyone like his children, working hard to ensure they all have a promising future. There are many that want to see him dead, as his ideas are a bit radical compared to what the powers-that-be have decided for the group, but his particular branch of JCs won't let that happen any time soon.

Diamond: Crystal and Jade's father and Garnet's right hand guy. He either lends encouraging words, or a back up fist. Whatever gets his point across in the end. He's not exactly hot headed, but he understands sometimes force is the only option. I imagine him and Garnet's relationship being a lot like Shigure and Ayame from Fruits Basket though >.> XD

Jasper: Sapphire's dad, he's shy and quiet but hardworking. He loves working with his hands and often dables in carpentering (is that a word?). He likes building things, mostly furniture. He doesn't speak much, but when he does it's probably wise to listen, he usually has a practical, open minded view.

The last one is Ruby's father and....he doesn't have a name yet T.T I was thinking of calling him a few things but nothing sticks. HELP ME! LOL (PS/EDIT: To those of you who suggested names, thank you first of all. Secondly, Ruby's dad isn't a Jewel Carrier, so he doesn't need a jewel name. That's why this is so hard for me LOL everyone else I either thought of or got from websites about gemstones lmao! I'm pathetic!)

Anyways about him: Ruby's father is by far the youngest father, only being 14 at the time Ruby was conceived. (Shush there's a reason). He's very girly but kind hearted and compassionate, he wants to lend a helping hand whenever he can. He's also very artistic, he's either drawing or playing his guitar. If you notice, he doesn't have a face mask like a raccoon, but that was caused by a medication he needed for a disease he had as a baby. It permanently bleached his fur white, causing him to lose his raccoon markings. Later on the sickness comes back to haunt him but the treatment he needs will make him sterile. (That's why he and topaz rush off to have a baby LOL but um. more of that will come in my comic. someday XD)

So that's it! Everyone's papa. I should draw everyone's mama at some point. XD
