Crazy 8's

Submission for deviantART's "Scott Pilgrim Contest." I didn't come up with an idea until today...and it's due today >.>

His story!

His name was Eddie Sanchez. It was, until he met Ramona Flowers. After whatever,whatever, and whatever, he and Ramona started dating, but he became obsessed with being the perfect guy for her. Eddie had the ability to gain someone else's strengths by stealing an object of theirs and absorbing their talents. He usually just used it to cheat on math tests by stealing a pencil from the kid with the highest grades or something, but he figured if he could absorb the strenths of Ramona's seven exes, he'd be the best guy for her. He would even go so far as to take something from Ramona herself, that way they'd have much more in common! Or so he thought, as he found using his ability once in a while was far different than trying to control the talents of multiple people at once. His personality itself became sporatic and he lost control of when he would change from himself to one of the exes or Ramona. He would just go home though, and abosrb himself again in his own things. However, his home mysteriously caught fire one day, and everything was lost. Without his own belongings to switch back to himself, the other personalities completely took over, to the point he no longer remembered his own name. By this point Ramona (unaware of what he was doing all along) was fed up with his "mood swings" and dumped him, saying she was moving to Canada. There was nothing left of Eddie Sanchez, and the shock of Ramona leaving him left her personality to dominate all the others. He started referring to himself as "Ramone" and when Gideon was about to approach him to join the "League of Evil Exes", he realized was too unstable to be of any real use to him. Gideon did fashion him with a special badge though. Like a mood ring, the number on the badge changes to reflect the personality Ramone's currently taken over by (Ramona's persona is the only one with a name, as the others are just reffered to as numbers, even by Ramone himself. This gave him the moniker "Crazy 8's"). Ramone and his other personas are easy enough to defeat, just figure out what object he stole from the person he currently is, and break it.

Or beat him at a puzzle fighter. Then he'll throw a hissy fit and break his own stuff.



AAAAAAAnd that's it! This was fun to do but I know there's zero chance of me winning. XD Kinda got me out of my art block for a little. I just wish I thought of it sooner so I could have made it all prettyful.

Ah well.
