I think this is the last of the old sketches I found that I felt like sharing. They were drawn completely seperate of each other but I slapped them together because they really show the difference in personality between Ruby and her mom Topaz. (in this pic, Topaz is 16, the age she had Ruby, whereas Ruby is her current self at 9).

Before Ruby’s birth, did Topaz planned on having a child or is it unplanned? After Ruby’s birth, what happened to her mother and father? How did Ruby end up loosing her parents? What did she had to go through while growing up?
