I almost forgot about this. My entry for BronyCon's cover contest thing. They mentioned they wanted something that was similar to their logo so... I dunno this happened. There's too much glowing going on.. Ah well, it was fun at least.
This is a pretty solid construction all around, particularly in the placement and usage of the cast (that is reflecting their personalities and overall roles in the group; Twilight as the leader, Applejack a stalward second, Fluttershy bringing the flank but getting frightened by one thing or another, Spike in the background in his perceived protective roll of the trepidacious Rarity, and Rainbow Dash/Pinkie Pie being Rainbow Dash/Pinkie Pie)
I was intreaged by the neon lining (really can't think of a better way to describe it) of the current rogue gallery, but as a cover for a booklet/magazine I think it works and really catches the eye. And indeed it seems to fit right in with the very 80's boxy/hollowed out logo
Short version; This looks spanking an I wouldn't be suprised to see this one chosen
Haha I love how Spike looks like he's protecting Rarity everything about this looks amazing! ;O; I can't stop staring at it, the poses the coloring, and the shading! You did a really great job with this
